Steve Stone - Midfielder
|
Steve Stone was well known in the past at Nottingham Forest, gaining a lot of caps for his brilliant work rate in the midfield. However, over the years, his success deteriorated, and he was sold to Aston Villa in 1999.
His stay at Aston Villa did not restore his career as he had hoped. After three seasons of serving as a midfield substitute, Stone left for Portsmouth on a free transfer.
