Carl Tiler - Defender
|
Bought by Nottingham Forest 4 years ago, he looked to become a new star of English football. However, he was very soon hit by an injury that took him out of the game for a very long time. Since then, he hasn't really become fit to get on Forest's 1st team. He started only six games for the City Ground outfit, but this dream move could pave the way for better things for him. As he has recovered recently and looks rather promising again, Villa acquired him for £750.000. He was injured all through the summer, and the 96-97 season only saw him start when the Villa defence was hit by sever injuries. On March 26, 1997, he left Villa for Sheffield United, who had to pay £650.000 for him.
Apperances has substitutions in brackets, i.e. the games when he came on as a sub and didn't start on the pitch. All the stats include cup games.
