(Can only be completed at between 20:00 and midnight. Hyman Memorial Stadium
will cycle through Hotring, Deathring and Dirt Ring every night).
This if GREAT fun! The primary thing here is for you not to have the accelerator
floored all throughout the race. A much better strategy is to slow down
a little if there's trouble ahead. Also, if you have your front bumper
by to another racer's rear bumper, ALWAYS fish-tail him! Otherwise, he'll
try to bump you when you get further alongside him. If your car is damaged
80-85% or above, get into the pits unless you only have one or two laps
left.

This can be very frustrating. ALWAYS stick to the banked areas and drive
around the track right up to the point where you have to turn into the
yellow blip. This way you will get entangled in the other cars much less
frequently.
Reward: a Deathring racer is available outside the stadium (it's
garbage, though).

There's no real trick here. You'll have to be very good on the Sanchez
to complete the mission. A great thing, though, is that there's no time
limit, so take your time and align your bike with the jumps / ramps /
boards before attempting them. You'll only blow this mission if you fall
off your bike so many times that you die. :-)
You'll need truly great grasp of the PCJ 600 to complete this mission.
Not much else to say. This is a very difficult mission, and there's
no shortcut here, so don't feel embarrassed if you blow it five times
in a row. Keep trying it until you know the route and the jumps. Make
sure you land on your rear wheel for greater control and less damage to
your motorcycle.
(N.B. This is not the same as "Shootist", where you shoot to
get Phil Cassidy to join your mob). General tip: chill out and take aim
before you fire. Now, start by blowing away the torsos on the front two
targets, but LEAVE the heads in place. Now you have a virtually free shot
at the third target, which will yield three points every time you destroy
it. Watch your ammo. If you're about to run out, remember that it takes
five bullets to destroy a target. If you get to a point where you have
below five bullets left after destroying target no. 3 (i.e. not enough
do destroy another one), pop the heads on the front two targets to get
some extra points.
Reward: A score of 45 or above will grant you the Fast Reload Ability.
In the Landstalker, just take it easy and use the handbrake at every corner.
Make sure you don't get one set of wheels on the banks, because this clumsy
vehicle rolls over very easily. On the Sanchez, use your handbrake at
every corner get through faster. Contrary to the Landstalker, here you
should use all banks fo rmaximum speed.
When you enter the roof, there's a Stallion parked down the other end.
Get into it and the mission will start. EASY does it! Pushing over a cone
is not the same as smashing one, remember! Start by picking up the two
checkpoints on the ramp in the far corner. This will grant you 24 seconds
instead of just 12 for one checkpoint. Now take the closest checkpoint
by going in between the nearest set of cones. Now go to the opposing corner
of the roof, get that checkpoint and reverse out again. From this angle,
grabbing the last checkpoint in the middle of the roof should be fairly
easy.
No easy way to do this, I'm afraid. Always try to hit the middle of the
checkpoint to make sure you get through it. Don't worry about the other
planes. They can't hit you. Other than that, you'll need to be good at
propeller planes to win the race, plain and simple. Once you've practised
enough, the other planes are way too slow to represent any threat to you.
Once again, no shortcuts, I'm afraid. The other cars are fast and the
race is difficult to win. Learning how the RC Bandit corners is the key
here. Get the car as close to the inner part of the corner as possible.
That way you take the corner as fast as possible.
This SHOULD be like flying the regular Maverick or similar helicopters,
but it isn't. This heli is extremely sensitive to your controls, so try
to turn by using banking rather than rotating your chopper. Take your
time. You're under no time limit, and the radio controlled helicopter
is very easily damaged. Other than that, there's no shortcut here either.
The Sparrow is basically a clumsy version of the Maverick. There's no
time limit here, so take your time, otherwise you'll hit trees, telephone
poles and so on and soon you'll be going down in flames. With practice,
you'll ace these.
Four things should make winning the races fairly easy:
1. Have the "Hot Cars Wanted" missions completed, so you have
the Hotring Racer available. It is definitely the fastest car available.
2. Instead of entering the pink blip, come speeding alongside the other
three cars and sideswipe one of the front cars. This will start the race,
and you'll already be ahead of the other three. They'll spend a lot of
time bumping into each other in the beginning so you should be able to
win without too much trouble.
3. If you still have trouble, drive at night. Obviously, there will be
less cars in the streets.
4. Don't just floor it all the way. If there's trouble ahead, slow down
a little. It won't cost you nearly as much time as a crash will.
